Water Treatment Technician | Independent Contractor | Sarasota, FL & surrounding areas.

Water Treatment and Filtration LLC sells and maintains Water Treatment and Filtration  systems for residential and commercial accounts in the Sarasota, Bradenton, Myakka, Venice and surrounding areas.


The Water Treatment Technician is responsible for monthly maintenance on equipment in the field by taking each unit through a 10-point check to make sure that it is running optimally.  The Water Treatment Technician identifies parts that may need maintenance or repair plus adds salt/chlorine to the unit as needed. The Technician will also change Reverse Osmosis System filters, pick up and deliver equipment to a worksite, and assist when needed with installation of equipment. 


💧Responsible for monthly maintenance and salt delivery routes in Bradenton, Sarasota, Myakka City and Venice areas.

💧Perform monthly maintenance on customer Water Treatment and Filtration systems; perform 10 point monthly inspection; deliver and add salt/chlorine to equipment.

💧Identify and troubleshoot maintenance and warranty issues.

💧Replace filters in Reverse Osmosis Systems.

💧Utilizing the Housecall pro app, notify customers when you are on your way, when you have arrived, when you have finished with the service and send invoice at close of the call.

💧Pick up supplies and equipment needed for installation of equipment and deliver to the work site.

💧Follow up on leads from customers regarding others in the community wanting the service or needing equipment.

💧Assist with installations when requested.

💧Perform water testing following proper protocol.

💧Provide excellent customer service to all customers.

💧Operate a company-owned or rented vehicle; maintain a clean driving record and be familiar with routing software.


💧High school diploma or GED


💧Knowledge of Water Treatment and Filtration systems and their operation is preferred.

💧Knowledge of plumbing is preferred.

💧Delivery route experience is preferred.

💧A good driving record is required.

💧Experience troubleshooting problems related to equipment.


💧Ability to navigate traffic and drive a vehicle in a safe manner.

💧Ability to perform maintenance on customer equipment, test water and add salt/chlorine.

💧Ability to lift 50-pound bags of salt, traverse over uneven ground and add salt/chlorine to customer systems.

💧Ability to learn the Housecall pro application to inform customers of needed information and invoice

💧Ability to learn the business and assist with installations.

💧Ability to transport needed items to a worksite.

💧Excellent customer service skills.


💧Ability to lift 50-pound bags of salt.

💧Ability to traverse over uneven surfaces.

💧Ability to work outside in all types of weather.

💧Ability to operate a phone with software related to the industry and GPS navigation tools.

💧Ability to pick up supplies and equipment and load them into a truck, van, or trailer.
